The system was developed as part of the LivingKnowledge project by the Natural Language Retrieval Group at Yahoo! Research Barcelona; details have been published on Technology Review. The team members include Michael Matthews, Pancho Tolchinsky, Roi Blanco, Jordi Atserias, Peter Mika and Hugo Zaragoza and incorporate many of the ideas first suggested by Ricardo Baeza-Yates in his 2005 paper Searching the Future.
